What customers say?

“ The place had great Christmas decor and our server was super sweet. She suggested the rice beer in grape flavor and it turned out to be so nice. We got the chicken curry udon, and seafood udon, and chicken was better. ”

“ Food: - kaarage (comes with garden salad) it was crispy and juicy and the garden salad dressing was amazing - spicy seafood creamy udon was very good and killed my cravings for a creamy noodle - the soup udon broth was amazing and the noodles here were so soft and had great texture. The waitress also gave us spicy peppers which made the broth have a great kick to it (would recommend for people that like spicy broth) 10/10 would recommend and am definitely coming back ”

“ Good food! Udon being one of my favourite dishes, I enjoy coming here to get a bite of a unique take on udon. We ordered the spicy cream udon and the shrimp udon. The spicy cream one is amazing especially eating the bread with the sauce that it comes with. The shrimp on the other hand I wouldn’t recommend, as the shrimp is not freshly made in house and nothing special about it (the shrimp tastes like frozen tempura you can buy at the groceries, the noodles and soup is not bad though) I would would to come at off peak hours as well as there’s limited seating and wait times could vary. ”

“ First day in Toronto and Mikaku welcomed us with great food, great vibe and the best service. It was our first time trying so many new dishes. The Takowasabi had the perfect kick as the appetizer. I have always been afraid to try a curry dish but the Chicken curry udon changed my mind. We did not have time for a dessert; this gave us the reason to come back some days. ”

“ The food here is Halal and was really good. We enjoyed the curry udon and karage udon a lot. It was really delicious and will be visiting again very soon. ”

“ Great vide while came into the store. Warm welcome and quickly seated with a light lemon sensed water. Order the buta udon and an eel nigiri. The starter eel nigiri were nicely torched on a thin layer of rice. Might be a bit too much on the mayo but the teriyaki sauce is good. Buta udon came with around 8 slices of marinated pork belly. The broth is clear yet has a depth in flavor. It is a great place for friend and family gathering. For sure will come back for more. Thank you. ”

“ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mikaku Udon Bar, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the host, Miyong, who made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, setting the perfect tone for a delightful meal. Now, let's talk about the food! The cheesecake was absolutely divine—rich, creamy, and with just the right amount of sweetness. It’s definitely one of the best I've ever had! I also tried the boneless fried chicken, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It's a must-try for anyone who loves comfort food. A special shoutout to our server, Remi, who provided outstanding service throughout our visit. Remi was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making excellent recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. Overall, Mikaku udon exceeded my expectations with delicious food and exceptional service. I can’t wait to return and try more items from their menu!
